In December 2021 The Archbishop of Canterbury agreed to open the doors of Lambeth Palace for twelve worthy charities to host a day each. As the trusted AV and production supplier for the palace, we were asked to transform the Great Hall into the perfect venue for the 12 fundraising events. We lit up both the outside and the inside of the venue, provided screens to promote the charities' messages and projected falling snowflakes onto the back wall of the hall to ensure a Christmassy feel!

Absolute Events were the chosen production company for Ronald McDonald House’s 2020 carol concert, against the picturesque backdrop of Lambeth Palace. We provided staging, lighting, audio visual and seating, as well as setting up a live stream service to allow those at home to tune into the concert. The event was extremely festive and an enjoyable celebration for all, despite the ongoing pandemic! "I just wanted to drop you a note to say a massive thank you for all your help and support yesterday. We have received such wonderful feedback from both those watching the show from Lambeth but also those watching from home. Most importantly you have been an absolute joy to work with these last few months and I'm so proud of what we achieved. Louise dropped me a note this morning to say you had been a true professional throughout and she couldn't fault anything yesterday." - Vanessa Simmons (Ronald McDonald Charity)

Tefal were looking for a fun way to launch their new Ingenio cookware range, and with it being around Pancake Day, they decided to set up a pop-up restaurant in the shop window of John Lewis on Oxford Street. Whilst, unsurprisingly this unique product launch idea was new to Absolute Events, we were unfazed by the uniqueness of this event and were ready with creativity and expertise to assist Tefal. We fitted out the window with a restaurant style back-drop, tables and chairs, and a plasma screen advertising the Ingenio range. Having worked in the events industry for over 25 years, we have made amazing connections and therefore were able to supply a professional chef who was able to demonstrate the range in the shop window to the thousands walking past as well as the lucky few who were given a spot at the tables in the window. The pop-up restaurant ran for 2 days and was a great success!

When we were asked in June 2023 to help with the launch of London’s Super Sewer we jumped at the chance of working on this unique project. We were asked to supply lighting and sound 60 metres underground in an 8m diameter tunnel to mark the final phase of the building of the new sewer. Known as The Loo Gardens it consisted of trees, plants and shrubs complete with our uplighters and a PA system to play a looped track of birds sounds. Guests were then brought down over a two week period to see the sewer and understand the environmental benefits this will bring to London.
